My Quizzz

This is my FIRST graphic design quiz!! I had to make basic shapes and use different tools on them. Like the noise tool, graduation, and the cloud tool. I then had to pick three adjectives that describe ME!

Is that me?

Here are 10 pictures of ME that I distorted only using filters in photo shop!! I was amazed about how much you could do with just filters ALONE! This is another one of my favorite projects.

ME?

Here are six pictures of myself I distorted using photo shop. I used paint, filters, smudge, squeeze, and the transformation tool. I really enjoyed doing this. It was a great way to start off the year. I really learned a lot in this class!

Now All Together!!!!!!

Here is where I put all those Christmas themed pictures I made. I did this using contour continuation. I put ten images together to make this.

All Time FAVORITE Thing!!

I made this snowflake using photo shop. I simply made one blue rectangle and four blue polygons. Then, I copied and pasted it twice. Next, I rotated them just the way I wanted them placed. Then, here you have it... a snowflake!!

My two favorite parts of Christmas!!!

These are just more of the Christmas themed items I have been working on lately! I also love to make snowmen and I really love Santa.

Presents

These are the presents I made. They go with the other christmas themed items I have made. I was able to make every little part of these presents! Hope you liked them!

Can you feel Christmas??

To make these Christmas items I got a picture off -line . Then I copied them to the best of my ability using all the tools I have learned about this year. I'm putting all these items into one picture with a common theme of CHRISTMAS!

Cosmo Girl!!!

For this project I had to find a picture of a magazine with someone's face on it and replace it with mine. We had to have a similar skin tone and be the same gender. Then, I had to play around until my face looked like it was part of that body. Another change I had to do was to adjust my skin tone to make it match perfectly. The nose, shadow, and hair had to be adjusted. I also had to put my name where the previous person's name was placed. The lighting also had to match our picture had to match. This project was hard to do but it was worth every minute! I love how this "Meghan Cosmo Magazine" came out.

My Restaurant!!!!!

This is my restaurant; Peak 11!!!! I love the snow and skiing so I knew right away that I had to do a snow menu. So I started by first making a snowflake. Then , I copied and pasted it. I had to change the color and opacities. Next, I went to free fonts and got the snow font. Then, I simply typed in the food Iwanted to serve and how much I thought it should cost. I also had to lay the menu out so it was appealing. I really liked doing this project!

Pumpkins

These pumkins were made from all circles. The only exception was the stem which I used the polygonal lasso tool. I made a the circles different sizes, applied outer glow, and used shading to make the perfect pumpkin. Then I copied that pumpkin twice. I destorted the new pumpkins so they all looked different.

Witch!!!

This is the witch I made. I used basic shapes, the polygonal lasso tool, and the paintbrush to put this witch together. I also used the smudge tool and the outer glow to make the hair. This project looks really hard but it really wasn't. I'm very happy with how this witch turned out.

GUM Balls

This is the GUMBALL PROJECT!! This was a cool project to do. I first started with a perfectly round circle and then put on the spots where light coming from the top right hand corner would hit. Then I copied it enough times so that gumballs would fill 3/4 of the page. Then I put in all the shadows so it gave the gumballs a 3-D effect.

Exclamation!!!

This is the same project as the contour continuation one. All that's different are the shapes, their colors, opacity, and the colors used in the background. Because of the changes, we got a different number of colors.

Contour Continuation!

This project was all about contour continuation. We took basic shapes of all different colors and opacities and arranged them so they showed contour continuation. Then, to make the orange to yellow background, we used the gradient tool. The last thing we had to do was count how many different colors we created.

What is coming out of my head???

This is the Brain Project! We took the polygonal lasso tool and cut off the top part of our head. We then took that section and rotated it so it looked like it was opening up. We then found pictures from the internet of our favorite things that had a large dpi. We had to find 60! We then edited them so they were just how we wanted. Next we made them look like they were flying out of our head by making them curve out. Also, we made the ones that were just coming out smaller than the ones that were out farther. This project took a lot of time but I really enjoyed doing it. This is my favorite project so far!

Black Cat!

To make this black cat we took our basic shapes (square, circle, and triangle) and put them together to form this black cat. All we did to make the legs in the back (also giving it a 3-d look) we copied the front legs and made the legs a gray color. Then, we drew the feet with the polygonal lasso tool.
